(everyone, including simba was shocked at hearing this. kiara runs into pride rock, crying)

(everyone is frightened, but jo)

(simba is shocked to hear what ash just said)

simba: i… i did it for kiara, for the pride lands

jo: you did it for yourself! and kiara’s right, you’re nothing like mufasa, you’re just like scar! and you always were and always will be!

(simba is more shocked)

simba: jo… we’re all on the same side, remember?

jo: things change, and people change! it’s all over simba! i’m done being your friend

(simba gasps in horror then jo begins to walk off pride rock)

simba: [runs up to her] jo, [grabs jo’s hand] wait! you don’t understand!

(the therizinosaurus scratches simba in the face then pulls his hand back from simba as his claws inadvertently slash jo through the skin on her wrist, making her yelp in pain and making the pride, his friends, his penguins, and the animals gasp in horror. jo looks at the claw marks on her wrist bleeding. simba looks at everyone who stares at jo in complete shock at what jo just did.)

nala: simba!

zazu: your majesty!

simba: ash, i_i didn’t…

(jo loses control of her temper and snaps back at simba even more)

jo: i don’t want to hear it! you’ve done quite enough!!!

simba: but let me explain! i didn’t mean…

jo: don’t even bother! i’m leaving! i don’t care what you say, i don’t care what you do, and right now i don’t care if i ever see you again! i hate you!!!

(everyone is shocked and frightened, as jo runs off from the zoo.)

mumble: don’t worry, we’re coming for you! (follows after him)

simba: jo! jo, come back!

jo: just leave me alone!!!

(owl summons the griffin then emily jumps on the griffin’s back and flies off. the heroes, little bear’s friends, the elephant seal, the blue_footed b00by, the marabous, the raven, the hyenas, and the penguins give simba a cold angry stare and all turn their backs on him as they head into the cave, without saying a word.)

simba: c’mon you guys. you all know i didn’t mean to hurt ash. don’t do this, please. rocky? apollo? everyone, please don’t be… mad at me

(it was no use, they all ignored him)

simba: nala, you know i didn’t mean to hurt jo

(but she turned her back on him too)

simba: nala…

nala: i just can’t talk to you right now

(she went into the cave with zazu, timon, pumbaa and the lionesses following her.)

simba: please…

(all that’s left is the pride land animals who all witnessed the argument after they helped simba drive kovu away. simba turns to the animals, hoping that they would add some defense on what he’d just done. but all he got from them were cold, angry stares after the way he treated his human friend, and they could only respond by turning their backs on him. once all of the animals went back into their exhibit homes, simba is now all alone, remorseful for what he has done.)

simba: (sighs) what have i done?
