see physical man uses his body to block thе punch
while the mental one makes you miss and look like a chump
physical man makes decisions with his gut as a hunch
while mental man crunches numbers while on break for his lunch
physical man thinks his worth is based on how much he lifts
mental knows his muscles will decay with age and it’s swift
physical’s faith is placed on symbols he can see and be touched
while mental talks about ideals or symbols don’t mean much

physical builds with some thick bricks, mental with statistics
physical man got hands, mental man understands
physical keeps it concrete, while the mental’s complete
and when physical makes obstacles, mental makes ‘em obsolete

so in the end you see a trend toward the formal operations
‘cause physical can’t keep up with the latest innovations
but before we give mental the accolades and applause
spiritual man blows ‘em both out with the power of god
