gunshots. cop k-9s barking outside

the boy and dude 2 look at each other

dude 1 kicks open the door & starts firing. dude 2 falls and makes a wilhelm scream like the one in star wars where the stormtrooper falls. a mist of red puff spurts from his chest

dude 1 turns to the boy and

is shot. the boy drops after hearing the gunfire. he closes his eyes as he falls. his life starts flashing before his eyes which is weird considering he isn’t dead. all noise except “centipede” fades out as he falls down. thoughts randomly enter the boy’s head. random thoughts of his childhood rush to his head. he misses these days and begins wondering about what he’s been doing

“nyla, i shoulda said yes… all these people i’ve met but n0body cares. no enemies that really matter, but no friends either”

the recluse comes crawling towards him and for some reason appears sad, like it’s family that the boy was thinking about earlier left him and he has nowhere else to go but here. the boy begins to think of naomi and tears up…

“i’m sorry naomi… for everything. my ignorance and not caring for you. no matter what happened you tried… we both tried… i did this for both of us. i know you only wanted the best but i just didn’t feel like anything is good enough, i still don’t.”
