hey guys, it’s oscar
hmh_ i hope you’re doing well, wherever you’re listening
hmh_ i just wanted to give you some new about what’s going on
and first i’m good, i’m, i’m really good
i’m still making music in my bedroom
i still sleep less than six hours every night
and hum, and i’m still single, so (slightly laughing) everything is fine
as some of you may know, last year, i decided to release music every month, from this bedroom
and even though it’s been like so hard, let’s be honest
uh i think i loved pushing myself to create as much as possible
and hmh i think i still wanna do this
but not exactly the same way
this time i wanna change two things:
first, uhh i really need to get out of this bedroom… that’s the main one
and two, i have to work with other people, so yeah! another challenge
so, this year, i will travel and release one postcard from a different country, every month
these postcards will include one song made with an artist from the country i’m in, and one bonus, that you’re listening to now, on which i’ll talk about, you know, how the trip went, the food i ate, if i finally hooked up with someone, you know, it could be anything! _laughing_
i just want to discover new music, new inspirations, and uh you know, i still need to get better at making musics
i think that, you know, meeting other people could help
oh and i’ll post some videos about the trips, on my youtube channel, so that i can take you with me, kinda
so this is the first one, milan, italy
it’s actually the first country outside of france that was interested in my music
they play me a lot on radios, which is crazy because, like, they still don’t do it in france. _slightly laughing_
i first met frederico, ’cause he made a remix of one of my songs, and he then introduced me to vv
the three of us went to his studio, he sat in front of his computer, and vv and i sat on the sofa
i picked a guitar, and uhh we wrote that song, “cheerios”
sometimes it can take like two months to write a song, but uh this time it took three hours
we even went to this music festival at the end of the day, ’cause we were like free, and ended up doing a ‘lil party in the studio after

the rest of the trip was great, i went back to vv’s house, to finish some lyrics
i ate as much pasta as my body could take. i walked across the city at night, listening to immensita, by andrea laszlo de simone
i’ve seen some really pretty girls, that i didn’t talk to
i took some pictures on film, because it looks cooler
i told myself that i was really lucky to be able to travel and make music at the same time
i told myself that i was ready to write more songs
again, thank you guys for listening to my music, i just wanna try so many different things, and i_i wouldn’t be able to do this without you
i promise that i’ll do my best to make the best music i’ve ever made this year
i’ll talk to you when i’ll arrive in berlin
