an hour passed, and from the backyard same
a louder, closer devil chant would drain his face

nameless faceless stalker must be closing in
“linchy, kinchy, collie, mollie,” chants the hound
“dingo, dingo,” finished he, that awful sound
his heart is pounding, no, this cannot be
the voice is getting closer to his dog and he
long_forgotten curse had now its t__th in him
his dog would pr_ck his ears, and it did start to sing, but
he turned his back and goes to flee the chase
but it echoed down the chimney through the fireplace

it said, “me tie dough_ty walker,” it was screaming now
nameless faceless stalker slowly creeping down

“dingo, dingo,” howling at the fire’s glare

dead eyes looking straight ahead, an undead dog goes
