whatever life throws my way or whenever it pushes me in the mud
i will remember that i am made by the almighty and sovereign god
that he has formed me and has plans for my future
not to be born and just die, but to bloom, because he’s the one by whom i am nurtured!

i am born for this!

he has formed my outward and inward parts –
he who created the universe, galaxies, and stars
he has woven me in my mother’s womb –
he who makes the seasons change and planets move

i am born for this!

i am fearfully and wonderfully made by you
the one who makes everything constantly new!
even if life gets harder the more i go on
i will remember that it’s exactly what i am born for!

i am born for pressure
but not to be held hostage by anxiety, sickness or depression –
this tension
shall become a tool
so, i could be formed as a jewel
that shines and brings glory to you!
therefore, the pressure of life will only improve
my growth and will continually keep me on the move!
so, even when i’m going through the worst adversities
i will remind myself: i am born for this!

and i know there are those, whose life hasn’t been easy
or who have born with disabilities and diseases
but, please hear me
what if those are not disadvantages to begin with?

so, please don’t stay stuck in the excuse: “i was born with this…,”
instead, see it for what it is: “i was born for this!”

and i am called for this!

i am called to glorify god in everything that i do
to change the world, but start where i should:
start at my home
with loving my own –
my family, wife, and children
because if we want to build a
world full of love and change the globe
we should take mother teresa’s advice: “go home
and love our family.”
that is how the agony
of the world can be healed:
if we understand that our spouse is an -ssignment from god
not a confinement that we have to escape from!

that unplanned pregnancy is not a failure
but god’s favor
and an amazing opportunity to raise world changers
who are brave and
willing to face the many snares, toils, and dangers!

therefore, i will stand my ground
even if the ground
beneath my feet will crumble
i will keep on going even if i stumble
because i am grounded in this knowledge:
that i am called for this!

[verse 3]
and i am equipped for this!

because when god gives you vision
he also gives you provision
when he gives you a task
he has already given you the tools even before you can ask
when he gives you an -ssignment
he has already equipped you for it

therefore, everything i need for this part of my journey
he has already given to me!
i am equipped and anointed!
even if i feel disappointed
i will remember he has appointed
me for this even if it feels pointless
or i can’t find meaning in all of that mess
i will remember that i am equipped for this!

i don’t need a new purpose or position
to experience god’s greater provision
i will experience it once i understand that in this season
he has already given me everything that i need to go on!

that is why the measure of a christian
is not what you do when you’ve found a treasure
but what you do under pressure
and whether or not you will remember what is sure:

“i am born for this!
i am called for this!
i am equipped for this!
therefore, i won’t quit on this!”
