my name is michael clark i go by lil michael, i’m from portland, oregon. i was born july 6th, 2007 and i’ve been interested in music almost all my life. when i was a kid i would listen to hip_hop,melodic rap , and a little of hard_rap. that got me into making music on my low budget laptop, in 3rd grade i ended up discovering hip hop/rap thru my brother’s friend who was also an hip_hop fan
the first song i listened to was 679 by fetty wap, that lead to me discovering monty, lil mosey, flor rids, lil mosey, and many more since then i mainly listen to rap and sometimes trap. after i almost got expelled from middle school when i was in 6th grade i started obsessing over making music and got better and better everyday. in 8th grade i started recording music and rapping, never taking it so seriously until i started to get a lot of hate which lead to me wanting to give up but i always wanted to keep it real in music so i kept pushing and going and due to me recording myself for years i naturally learned to engineer and developed an ear for music, i started engineering to artist in the area that wanted the help. i was also was into graphic design and so i would make cover art’s for people in the area
8 months ago, i kept being consistent dropping every other week, and if i wasn’t dropping i was recording more music which helped boost my music. i got managed with the globals, started doing interviews, and built a tight and strong fan base. achievements
