that was made to pigeonholes into categories
and profit off of the idea of masculinity being exclusive to men
and of women being lesser than men
and i’m sorry, but we’re too f-cking clever for that

gender is a spectrum
there’s no start or end and
we won’t bend to fit
these two hugely exclusive ideas of what gender was meant to be
that was built off inaccurate biology and reinforced by gender roles
that try to limit our human experience through shame and social rejection
and this?
this is a reflection of insecurity at its most basic form
so let go of that pink and blue
and learn that it’s ok to be you
