i just bought the fnaf vr game the other day and i love it but the problem is that when i am on the go, my vr fails to pick up a signal
what i thought was a simple problem turned out to be a highly irritating one to solve
i am convinced it’s the worst thing to happen to my vr
i had to remove it
i tried using the wireless mouse for my desktop which is what i usually use
but i just bought this more expensive one for the desktop (the vr isn’t hooked to the desktop) and it won’t be usable for thе fnaf vr since it uses a usb connection

i_i_i triеd troubleshooting by powering down the vr and back up
but still no luck
i tried a quick restart on the pc, but still no luck
i tried searching for the answer online and i got a ton of recommendations from people but not one confirmed solution
the google search gave me no luck either
what am i to do?!
i am totally stuck
have you had this problem?
have you found a solution?
have you had any other weird computer related vr problems?

this only happened not long ago on a sunny afternoon. i lay down on my couch to read
i had just come back from a very exhausting day
i was drained
it was my day off and i was supposed to go to the gym
but i was tired
the unexpected heat did not help
i was craving my bed and a nice shower
so i took a nap
when i woke up i felt refreshed and happy
i had a huge glass of water and started playing on my vr while i sat on the couch
suddenly, my apartment door slowly opened
i immediately took my headset off
the door slowly creaked and the handle started to turn
i lay still, terrified
i slowly peeked from underneath the blanket, as if my cat would suddenly jump out at me

nothing happened

then slowly the door opened fully and slowly a figure came out of the darkness
i screamed for my life
i couldn’t believe it
it was my uncle, i live with him
he stood in the doorway with a huge grin on his face and he started to walk toward me
i tried to run, but i was so scared that i just stood there in fear, clutching the blanket
then my uncle said “ah! it’s you!”
i quickly grabbed my blanket and ran as fast as i could
in my frenzy, i dropped my glass of water which shattered all over the floor

i ran to my room and slammed the door shut and locked it
i hid under the blanket and cried my eyes out
i knew i had to leave, but i was terrified to get out of my room
my uncle wasn’t going to leave
he was going to come in and “make sure i was all right”
i was only 17 years old, how would i survive if my uncle found me?
what if he hurt me?
after an hour of hiding, i realized that no one was going to come in
i was going to have to get out of my room
i had to face my uncle
so i slowly pushed myself out of my hiding place
i slowly inched my way to the edge of the blanket and slowly peeked out to make sure he wasn’t right behind me

he wasn’t there

i slowly peered out of my bedroom window and down
my uncle wasn’t there either
i slowly made my way out of my room and down the stairs
once i got downstairs i was relieved
it was night time and i felt safe
it was a whole new world outside
my uncle wouldn’t be able to find me

[verse 4: jacksonsprix & ed sheeran]
i slowly walked to the door and opened it and stepped outside
the night air hit my face and i shivered from the fear
i stood on the porch for a while, just taking it all in
i walked a bit to the end of my house and peeked into my neighbor’s house
everyone was asleep, but i could still hear the faint sound of a video game going on in my neighbor’s house
i walked back to the porch and slowly took a step forward
then i heard something
i froze and looked behind me
i saw two eyes reflecting back at me from the shadows
then a shadow came from around the corner and it was coming toward me
i was frozen

my entire body froze

then a voice whispered “it’s about time i found you! i’m right behind you!”
then there was a bright flash of light and suddenly i felt nothing
i found myself on the ground, flat on my back
i lay there for a few moments, thinking that i had died
that my heart had just stopped and that i had bled to death
but then i started to slowly feel the cold ground beneath me
then i felt myself slowly rise up
then i opened my eyes to see my uncle’s face staring down at me
i stared at him as he was telling me that he was going to get some help and that i should follow him
i obeyed and went back into the house and to my room
i hid underneath the blanket and cried myself to sleep

[verse 5: jacksonsprix]
i lay in bed for a while, thinking over what had happened
i tried to understand what had happened, and why it had happened to me
i guess i don’t know what was more terrifying, having my uncle find me or not having him find me
or maybe it was that it happened at all

i don’t know

i just didn’t want to go outside anymore

i was afraid that some day, whoever that man was, would find me and hurt me
that thought scared me even more than having my uncle find me
so i stayed inside and reluctantly waited for my uncle to find me

but as far as i knew, he, that man, wasn’t coming back
i would never see him again, that was almost for sure

[verse 6: chief keef & the weeknd]
then one night, i was in the kitchen, washing the dishes, when i heard a noise coming from my uncle’s room
i couldn’t make out what it was, but it sounded like someone trying to make a sound
i opened the door slightly and peeked in, but there was nothing there

then i heard it again

a noise coming from inside my uncle’s room
i walked slowly in there and quietly pushed open the door
the light from the hall shone in and i saw him standing by the bed
he had a video game controller in his hand and was violently shaking it as if he was angry
i screamed and quickly closed the door and tried to make as little noise as possible as i ran down the stairs

he shouted at me to shut up

“quit freaking out!”
i kept repeating that as he grabbed my arm and dragged me back up the stairs

he continued his game

i opened my door, locking it behind me
then i closed the curtains
i decided i was going to have to sleep in my bed tonight
i decided not to sleep in the living room and would just have to stay awake all night and listen for noises
i figured that if he thought i was asleep, he wouldn’t bother me and i would be safe
but as i got into bed, the light outside started to fade and the moonlight seeped in through the window
i was waiting for it to be dark, but the light just got brighter
i didn’t know what was going on

[verse 7: jacksonsprix]
suddenly, there was a strange sound coming from downstairs
i jumped out of bed and looked down the stairs
there was a light on in the living room
the porch light was on
what was happening?

my uncle started to shout and i stood frozen in place
i could hear him shout, “get out here, boy! get your ass out here!”

i slowly began to inch down the stairs

“what the h_ll do you want?” i whispered
there was silence
i started to walk closer

then he said it again

[verse 8: jacksonsprix & kanye west]
i crept closer and i could finally see what was happening
my uncle had stood up, put his hands behind his back, and he was lying on the couch

he was completely naked

his white skin gleamed in the light
he was crying

i couldn’t move

all i could do was stand there and stare

he started to speak again
he said, “i’m sorry. i know you’re scared and it’s my fault. i shouldn’t have ….”
but he couldn’t finish

he was crying too hard

it was one of the most horrible sights i’d ever seen
i couldn’t even scream
i only stood there and cried
i felt so terrible
and for all i knew, it could have been worse
he could have beaten me or raped me or even k!lled me
at least he hadn’t
i came close to turning on the light and telling him to get the f_ck out, but i was afraid to make a noise
i did not want him to stay there, though
but i felt like i couldn’t leave him there
i called out for him. “i’m sorry, i’m sorry!”
i said over and over again
and finally, after what felt like a long time, he lay still and quiet, asleep, and i went back upstairs and locked the door

i lay in bed that night, wide awake, listening for any movement downstairs, but there was nothing

in the morning i got ready for school and left early
when i got home from school i looked through the window in the door and saw him sitting on the couch with the tv on
he was cleanly shaved, fully clothed, and his body was covered in fresh cum stains
he had a few beer cans in the kitchen and a piece of paper next to them
it was the note i had seen the night before

it said:
i know you saw last night. if you ever see me like that again, you call the police
i will leave if you call them, i promise

he left after that and i never saw him again
i didn’t know what to do

i felt awful
what could have i done?

i called him a couple of times to find out where he was, but he never answered the phone
