now all i see is politicians and government blaming one and other and someone’s a liar
but what we all saw that day was so tragic and sad
then the community came together and was focused and mad
mad at the people that we need to blame
someone caused that fire to k!ll and they deserve shame
and then we focused on helping the people in pain
putting food in there mouths and roofs over head
but the victims who deserve help are now mostly f-cking dead
news fed on this story as if it was glory
hundreds of stories about 24 burnt up storeys
burnt out rooms burnt out flats
burnt out homes in a burnt out tower
everything was burnt as it stayed burning for sixty hours
firemen sprayed water but the flames stayed in power
as all the burnt paper burnt plastics and burnt belongings fell like a shower
they fell to the ground as it burnt for 60 f-cking hours
and all the towers ashes covered the memorial flowers
people showed there support for so many days
and the support didn’t stop for days and days and days and days
our countries community in stronger than that fire blaze
