the boy and dude 2 look at each other

dude 2 pushes the boy down to the ground. shots are still firing just beyond the closed doors a few feet away from them. dude 2 is trying to drag the boy behind the couch, the shots continue

the boy fights back, elbows the dude in the stomach and gets up

“it’s over. why make an attempt to survive? i should die on my own terms. maybe i can still make it to the poo…”

the door opens. four shots get him, three in the stomach and one barely grazing the side of his head

the boy begins to fall. he thought too long about the situation. at that moment he flashbacks to the thought of seeing jay shot outside the club. in the background dude 2 is yelling “stop shooting, it’s over!”

but it is too late, it’s over

naomi walks through the doorway

she sees the boy on the ground

it was all just a game to her. “maybe i can teach him a lesson. show him he will end up dead if he keeps dealing”, she thought

she’s been watching too many movies. this isn’t like “the game”

his white shirt isn’t so white anymore. three distinct splats of dark red

the boy slowly gets up, liquid drips down towards his cheek. he uses his shirt to wipe it off. the three splats form together into one big smear
naomi walks over to hug the boy. the smear slowly transfers to naomi’s tank top

“i’m sorry, i know how much you loved that shirt.” naomi says

the boy responds, “that was my favorite shirt. you know the paint won’t come off.”
