then he pressed the chainsaw blade down on their throats
the couple in the back room woke up
just to learn that all the windows in the room were nailed shut
there’s no place to hide, all they could do is cower
as the foot steps and chainsaw sounds grew louder
he kicked in the door, blood flew from the chain
as it ripped through the flesh, right through to their brains
all he really wanted was to be left alone
and now he can tonight with a pile of bones
