yet this grain of misunderstood sediment forms the core of our restless existence
seems delicate as my attempts are these ideas still find their place in amongst the rest with common relevance and indifference its
such a bittersweet sight to see
gandhi spoke of this something while he led thousands of peaceful walks and
jesus died for this something while his body got nailed to the wondrous cross
and the prophet muhammad gave this something to millions draped in beautiful cloth
it’s — something that can be received by all, yet accepted by few
it’s in the rain as hope and can be seen by the morning dew
it’s in the weed that you toke and in the beer that you brew
it’s in the eyes of the wicked and the life from the hue
it’s a tale of many, but only told through one view
it’s humility
it’s love
it’s an understanding that our place in this universe is so infinitely small that
my war on my neighbour is just as meaningless as that grain of sand in the grand scheme of it all
that when looking back on the planet earth from five billion miles away
would have seen another speck of dust, across a vast of ocean of decay
