[tim spoken: thank-you very much sisters. i have here in my hand one of the greatest pieces of feminist literature of the 20th century. this is a poem written by doctor sarah burns, australia’s leading feminist writer. at the moment she is in greenham common protesting… against plastic furniture or something, i’m not sure. this poem is ent-tled “oh lesbian, oh mother” it is a powerful incisive work from a woman with powerful incisors. i read to you this evening with pride because it is written by wimmin, for wimmin, about wimmin and tonight i read it to you my friends, as a woman. i am a woman, i am a woman. i’m proud to be a woman. i am a woman trapped in the body of an incredibly good-looking man. i must say i’m very pleased that so many wimmin are finally getting onto the wimmins literature bandwagon: naomi wolf, andrea dworkin, emilio estevez, martin sheen… the list just does go on, and on
“oh lesbian, oh mother” by doctor sarah burns:

sorry, “min” is the derivative of “wimmin”. right on, sisters

well. you can see she’s a sh-t poet. come on, the politics override any faults in the writing. i will continue:
