entering a large corridor, swindlebeast followed professor trinket to her office
the echoing halls swallowed them whole as they scurried down a staircase to the cellar below

upon reaching her office, professor trinket removed a small scroll from her left coat pocket
on it read a series of numerals and shapes that would unlock the doors to the spectacular machine
ruffling her brow and raising a flute to her mouth, trinkеt played a vaguely familiar tune and with a long deep brеath she began to tell swindlebeast of his fate yet to come

she explained that the machine was locked away in the highest tower of the headmaster’s quarters
he was keeping it chained and under guard until his grand showcase to the board of education
but ye not be fooled by the shallow plans of man unto a sinister plot
it’s the souls of his students he wants to control and for all else to be forgot

trinket then told swindlebeast that he must seek out the wise monk key and ask him and his lizard men for help
his sanctuary was just beyond the pine groves and muck hills of the yonder strange lands
shocked by her grand tale, swindlebeast was petrified and frightened
but knowing his peers were in great peril he took the scroll and made his way to see the headmaster
