“girl wonder” was actually the first song i recorded that i didn’t write
um, my friends emily falvey, nicolle gallyon, and jack newsome wrote this song
and i think emily actually sent me the demo of this song write after they wrote it
um, and i became completely obsessed because
i was in a season of life where i was falling in love
and feeling all the things that “girl wonder” says
um, and probably bugged her for a solid six months to, to cut this song
another big part of my artistry is the visuals
and when i first heard “girl wonder,” i feel like i saw thе song
um, and truly, this has been some of my favorite creativе i’ve ever done for a song
i found a hot pink mustang in nashville
and immediately knew it had to be the “girl wonder” mustang
um, we filled it with these beautiful, fresh flowers because it was a convertible
and it was the coolest thing to be able to bring this to life
like i said, when i heard this song, i kinda saw all this
but to be able to actually put the pieces together was really, really fun
and it’s truly been one of the anchors of this entire album
