this story is true, and it’s about a neighborhood scandal that took place in my hometown, back in savannah, georgia

just about that time, a cadillac car drove up, and a preacher from our local church got out and went in our house. but, out of the unexpected, my father came up on the scene. the last thing i remember, i heard my father scream

about that time, i had to look and see that the whole neighborhood was in our front yard, and this little old lady, she came over to my father, and she said, “lord, it’s a shame for our preacher to be caught with the wife of another man.” and, at that time, my father cried out loud, he said
