i’m so tired of feeling mindless
but it’s sad that it feels like a feat
to watch tv without checking a second screen
everything at my beck and call except
the ability to muster up the will to disconnect
and be alone with my thoughts
a once_forced art now seemingly lost
i’m attached to distraction, it’s nearly bionic
is this really what we wanted?
