as my walk awakes leaves in rest

which seems to be enlightened
from the abyss of its bed

through the ballet of dancing trees
“you’ve arrived here too late
the master had to leave”

in the silence
of an old forsaken chapel
sweet sweet smell of burning incense
crying widow
awaiting still merciful

and the sunlight
caresses the idol
through the colors of a stained gl-ss window
which seems to be reviving
old clay from it’s sorrow

and i close my eyes
as my prayer brings me to my knees
and gracefully the choir sings
“you’ve arrived here too late
the master had to leave…”
