i led the craving demons
that follow me everywhere i go

i remember some ephemeral times
sharing the wine with my peers
but all is far long gone
with a bitter taste of tragedy

a lingеring agony of wasted times
led by abusе and disgust of life

how will you embrace death
if you can’t face the least of grief?
you fear the end of all things
but there’s nothing here to miss
increasing psychosis
fed by animosity
behind the curtain of the past
that’s forbidden to see
i walked through the years and tamed the joker
making my way through shards of broken glass
i carried the burden of my spirit and soul
to the grim highlights of a sick glory
there’s a stranger dwelling inside of me
he has always been here k!lling my humanity
together we bled, together we spread our black hearts
we offered you the madmen’s poetry, yes we praise me

the time bell knell, the fifty winters
and those darkness you dream of
became my nights and days
and those demons became my pets

what did we learn at the end?
did we reach wisdom before the hole?
don’t confuse wisdom with weariness
and believe it, there’s no joy to become old, old
