so, the “my life interlude,” this interlude is, is so special because even in my darkness, i, i knew there was a god and i was so grateful for him taking me and my mother and my family out of the projects and moving us away from that hell. that’s what i was so thankful for ’cause i was still sad and miserable and couldn’t really find my way. but i knew there was something bigger than me that was moving me — well, i had this feeling that there was something bigger than me that was protecting me and moving me and giving me so many blеssings and the blessings of my mother not having to bе, you know, in the projects no more and not having to work no more. and being able to, you know, come get my whole family from out of yonkers and, and us live better. you know, i had to give him thanks. and that’s what it’s about. the “my life interlude” is about me thanking him for what my life was then at the time, um, so yeah, that’s what that’s about
