why do we carry so much hate in our hearts?

this emotional coldness, i wish it were not human. all of us born under the same stars, yet unable to walk together under the same sky

belief, disbelief, faith, false faith, opinions, different views, perspectives, no perspectives, attitudes, different attitudes, values, false values, worthlessness, materials, ressources

everything keeps turning, yet it all boils down to stories
stories that divide us, separate us, shaped by what we have learned

stories that were told to us, history that was written, history that we have lived, stories that we have learned and taught. stories that life itself writes
but isn’t it precisely those that hold us together?

am i attributing too much to us? perhaps it’s only the anger burning inside, and like a pack of rabid wolves, we tear each other apart. but i refuse to accept that. such cruelty must hold a deeper meaning. just because i cannot see it does not mean it does not exist

we walk upon the same earth, draw water from it, nourish ourselves from it. i wish we could all see how alike we truly are
