but just enough
because too little is cringe, and still somehow
intense is too much

i guess there’s an invisible fine line we try to walk called authenticity

to create honest art is all consuming
to create meaningful art requires leading a full life
a conundrum

so why do it at all?
why share any creation?
is it a selfless act?
or just another vain pursuit of validation?
i’ll never know for sure
but more than anything
for me, it’s a vehicle to process ongoings in the world around me
to crystallise how i feel in a given moment

not a claim to fame or an identity
but an internal dialogue, in which i answer questions posed to me, by me, about me

so this collection of songs helped me understand how i felt then, how i feel now
and a little bit more about who i am as a person
frozen forever in time
