he used to work in a, in a mojo shop in new orleans, mixing up mojo, and doing all kinds of hoodoo
and this is about when he mixed up a potion, a love potion called “the love me or die”
and the idea is, if you want someone to fall in love with you, you bury it under their house
and they get sicker and sicker and sicker, and you nurse them back to health
and then they fall in love with you and marry you
(it’s pretty weird) it’s pretty weird
but it’s a good song, here we go
