seems like again
i’m starring back at my past
but trough a window
that i built over years

its small blurred glass throws a reflection back
i see myself in blackness, the glass is obsidian
it clads me into shadows

but looking through
the blackness disappears
the past world is colored, is bright and not black

oh how i wish they were here
the colors, i yearn for
i let all my feels
flow out and so do i

i sharp my senses
the wild hunt begins
start to become a new man
to catch up a glimpse

(of) what i used to be
before this world has spit me out
me out

no way to change
what i have become
but i
live
for these days

break down in tears
as i return back „home“

i’ve left this world behind me
but still there’s the beauty i see

i’ll never forget but
blackness starts to rise

picking up a stone
spoiled memories should better be erased

i’ll soon be alone
i throw the stone right through the window

picking up a shard
i look in detail whats in
it seems a piece of my heart
has been locked up within

everything i once have dreamed of
has been locked in tiny shards
i can’t let go what of what i yearned for
so long deep inside my heart

all these steps i take now
appear only as mistakes
oh how i wish i could get from
this world towards a better place

i can’t let go
this world never ends
it’s temptating smile
a second chance

so i return
orphaned again
in search for a home in search for myself
