i think in the context of the dream i was living with my father. i also had the dog, zeus. i believe we were living in an apartment in possibly a city like grand rapids. or maybe we were living in the new apartment “high_rise” (really, just six floors) apartment building that was being constructed in ludington
a really bad storm had hit. i remember looking out of a window and seeing i think a house on fire. it was a raging inferno too. the earth shook. lightning was striking. i remember chip running in and yelling something. i remеmber yelling back “fire!” i was commеnting on the house i saw burning down. i ran out of the living room. i grabbed a few items
we ran up a flight of stairs to get to another apartment, lauren’s apartment. their door was already opened. cas and lydia seemed to be how old i remember them being. we got lauren, cas, lydia, and i think ben to go with us as we got out of the apartment complex. i remember saying something to lydia down the lines of “i saw this coming.”
the storm was violent. it was a torrential downpour. lightning struck every few seconds, and with massive amplitude. and that house was still ablaze somehow in this torrential rain. i’ve never seen anything like that
