когда я был маленький, к дубу на берегу реки “лава” (“alle” – старое немецкое название) мы ходили плавать и рыбачить. дед ушёл. дуб же стоит как прежде, и с тарзанки на его ветвях дети также как я когда-то прыгают в воду. это прекрасное время и место мне не забыть никогда

dedicated to my grandfather
when i was little, we used to go swimming and fishing in a place near an oak tree on the banks of the “lava” river (“alle” – old german name for this river). grandfather is gone. the oak stands as before, and the children jump into the water from a rope on its branches, as i once did. it is a beautiful time and place that i will never forget
