today i read about eat mor chikin. i read about s. truett cathy. he was the founder of chick-fil-a. he was tempted to sell chick-fil-a. one part of the book said that the most reason companies fail, is their desire to grow faster thatn they can manage. i read that s. truett cathy’s friend sold one of his companies to investors. then he paid them money to stop using his name. this reminded him of proverbs 22:1- “a good name is better to be chosen thatn great riches, and loving favor that silver and gold.”

today i read about 3 centuries of american poetry. i read a poem called enoch. the poem talked about a person called enoch that walked with god. the poem talked about winds complaining and how god walked alone unhonored throughout the earth. this is a good poem
