he chuckles
he knows it’s the end. he closes his eyes, embracing his impending death. dude#2 looks over at him, baffled. he feels in control. he feels alive, but the dude who bursts through the door changes all that

dude#2 lays lifeless on the ground
he turns to he boy. ( gunner)
the gunner firmly grips the trigger, but no squeeze yet
he stops, with a face of confusion; the boy isn’t afraid, or not afraid: he’s emotionless (no face emoji). he freezes just for a moment. then that moment leads to a-
