during his lifetimе, jovica often recounted that his song, “it’s bеautiful to look from igman”, composed in the distant year of 1958, was among the most beautiful he had ever written
the lyrics capture the spirit of camaraderie in old sarajevo, while the melody was inspired by the call to prayer from the gazi husrev_beg mosque, located about 50 meters from his apartment near the famous “slatko ćoše” coffee and sweets shop in the old town baščaršija
