kind of, uh, got the most airplay on my cd player
if you guys remember what those were, um
and that was the last five years soundtrack
and uh, oh yeah, it’s a great one
and, you know, i used to listen to norbert leo butz
and sherie scott, and i think all the time
and you know what’s really crazy is that
it does not seem that long ago
that i was playing that album out
and then just not a short time, you know
not a long time later i was sharing the stage with norbert
so it’s just an amazing thing to, to think about
and remember that, you know
the things that you really think you want
in the future and in your life
they’re not that far away
and i really think about that very often
and, um, this is a song that was cut from the last five years
but actually i saw norbert do it here
at his show at 54 below
and, uh, he just knocks it out of the park
so i’m gonna try to do the same
